About the Authors

Chase Anichini: Author, Illustrator

Chase Anichini, Co-Author and Co-Illustrator of Baffle That Bully!

10-Year-Old Chase Anichini in 2013

Chase Anichini is an elementary school student who has so many interests, she can barely find enough hours in her day to fit in everything. In her free time she studies voice, ballet, jazz, tap, and gymnastics and pursues her passion for musical theatre. Like Scarlett Jones – the character she created for Baffle That Bully!  – she often stays up after bedtime with a flashlight reading, writing her next story, or composing a musical; shhh – don’t tell her mom!
Chase also loves singing at the top of her lungs, texting her friends (the more emoticons, the better), and pretty much anything that sparkles.
UPDATE: Chase is now an active member of Theatre of Peace: Bullying Awareness Acting Troupe (“TOP”), a division of the non-profit Act Like You Matter. TOP offers student-led, solution-driven, anti-bullying workshops and performances for K-12 in San Diego County.

Jordan Anichini Illustrator of Baffle That Bully

13-Year-Old Jordan Anichini in 2013

Jordan Anichini: Illustrator

Jordan Anichini is a middle school student who enjoys reading, history,  math (well, sometimes), and science. In her free time she studies trumpet, voice, ballet, jazz, and tap and pursues her passion for musical theatre. Obsessed with dancing, she has been known to break into jazz turns and leaps without any warning and often in unusual places – such as the grocery store! She loves dogs, listening to music on her iPod, telling jokes, hanging out with her friends, and, of course, drawing.
